This is an opportunity for a highly talented Product Designer to join an innovative product team in one of the UK’s most exciting startups. You will play a key role in shaping the user-centred designs for a world-class personalised video platform trusted by global brands such as Facebook, Google, PlayStation  and marketing agencies.

The role will require you to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define, scope, prioritise and deliver a pioneering design across our entire product.

As well as working independently on these products and services, you will also undertake, competitive analysis, data mining, user testing, A/B testing, interviews and observations to help scale Spirable’s B2B platform usage to the next level of growth.

Responsibilities include

  • Collaborate with the Head of Product and internal stakeholders to define the visual design vision, strategy and philosophy
  • Meet regularly with all stakeholders, including engineering, customer success and leadership team to expertly elicit requirements in creating simple interfaces and experiences that provide solutions to what users need
  • Ability to marry business requirements with design practices and a depth of UX knowledge within the SaaS B2B marketplace
  • Designing elegant UI and user journey experiences across the platform and implementing precise visual design
  • Research, scope and implement visual design technologies that yield commercial advantage
  • Create new platform experiences technology through soliciting feedback from customers, internal stakeholders and assessing the competitive landscape
  • Arrange, collate and analyse user input from customer interviews

Mandatory skills and experience

  • Experience within the SaaS/Cloud industry
  • 3-5 years of demonstrable UI/UX Design experience
  • Know your way around the usual design tools, Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite and not forgetting the traditional pen and paper
  • Ability to utilise modern front end tools, frameworks and libraries – e.g. React and Material UI
  • Experience with workflows designing simple and intuitive user interfaces – ability to create examples through lo and hi fidelity wireframes and prototyping
  • Exceptional organisational, project management and analytical skills
  • Collaborative team player with persuasive communication and presentation skills
  • Aptitude in decision making and problem solving

Desirable skills and experience

  • Prior experience as a design professional in video advertising
  • Experience being the sole owner of SaaS B2B front end design in a start-up environment would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS; Javascript would be a plus
  • A degree in a design related subject preferable but not essential

About the role:
You’ll be the first point of contact for your own portfolio of self-serve and managed-service clients. From day one you would be supporting a Senior CSM and CSM Director on key global accounts, liaising with senior clients and their creative/media/platform partners. As part of a small team with a flat structure, you’ll immediately get to work with the Head of Client Services and the Co-Founders on key projects.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Being the first point of contact for clients and their media/creative agencies 
  • Providing training & product support on our proprietary platform to self-serve clients and agencies F2F as well as via live chat, email, phone and screenshare
  • Manage your portfolio of clients through the full customer lifecycle, with the opportunity to upsell/cross-sell
  • Consulting on best practice across Facebook, display, YT and CRM (training will be given)
